Presentations at local events

Find our white label material for this action: PowerPoint slides, flyer, factsheet

1 Prepare an appealing talk about your energy community

Use a part of the material from our communication toolkit (PowerPoint slides, factsheet) and fill in the core information about your project.

2Choose an event

Option 1: Brainstorm about events in your region where you could present these materials. Ask the organisers for a possibility of presenting your project.

Different target groups can be reached at different events. How do you find the right events for your target group?

  • To reach families, think of events in schools or family sports clubs.
  • To reach grandparents or silver investors, you can visit events in senior’s clubs, bridge clubs, regulars’ tables, etc.
  • Village fairs or assemblies at municipal level might be a good place to reach a wide range of different target groups.
  • To reach farmers, think of regulars’ tables, farmer associations, farmer markets, etc. Also, use those events to approach traditional and organic farmers personally and invite them to discuss further details in a follow-up meeting.

Option 2: You can organise your own event.

3Give an appealing talk about your project, enthusing listeners to take part in your project

Also, try to reach out to possible members, multipliers or investors at these events personally and invite them to discuss further details in a follow-up meeting.

Remember: Bring your flyer or factsheet to the event.
