Legal form

Associations/Clubs

An association or club is any group of people who have joined together for a particular purpose, ranging from social to business, and usually meant to be a continuing organization. It can be formal, with rules and/or by-laws, membership requirements, or it can be a collection of people without structure. The legal status of associations depends on national legislation.

There is a great variety of local, regional and national energy community associations, which usually have the aim to support renewable energies and the energy transition.
