The Green Energy Cooperative was founded by current and former employees of local companies and organizations that are working in the field of energy and environmental protection. It has currently 18 members.
The Croatian Green Energy Cooperative (ZEZ) is a cooperative that deals in planning, development, management and financing of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency projects. The cooperative was founded with the aim of supporting the local community on sustainable tourism development as well as in the fields of agriculture and commercial and public institutions. The cooperative is trying to invest in sustainable energy projects, help the local community in projects related with energy with the goal of putting energy production in the hands of the citizens.
